West Mercia Police hold the majority of the information you have requested.
Q Does the force have a dedicated team for equality, diversity and inclusion, i.e. a team separate to the human resources team which might otherwise be expected to fulfil the role of ensuring the force meets its commitments under the equalities act?
Yes
Q If so, please provide the number of staff working in this team. Please also include as much of the following information as possible:

As of 1st October, within the Culture and Inclusion team, we had:
1 x Chief Inspector - Culture and Inclusion - £71,715
1 x Sergeant - Positive Action and Retention - £56,208
1 x Constable - Outreach - £50,256
1 x EDI Advisor - £40,893
However, we are undergoing a change process and the team will soon be reduced to:
1 x Sergeant - £56,208
Our neighbourhood teams will be focused on community engagement and partnerships, along with liaising with our Independent Advisory Groups (IAGs)
