My Freedom of Information enquiry is in relation to illegal vape sales, whether these are underage sales or sales of non-UK compliant vape products.
Could you tell me please, how many closure orders of shops were sought by your force for illegal vape sales in the calendar year 2025?
How many of these orders were granted?

West Mercia Police do not hold any information in relation to your request as we no longer apply for closure orders of shops regarding illegal vape sales and did not apply for any in 2025. West Mercia Police no longer make these applications they are made by the Local Authority so they would apply for them and hold records of how many are granted.
