FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: RC0018056/26
I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 3rd July 2026. Please find below the response to your request:
I would like to please request information relating to police deployments to football stadiums within your area of responsibility.
Please provide the following information for the period 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2025 (broken down by calendar year):
- The total number of occasions on which officers were called to attend to an incident at the Croud Meadow Stadium
Where available, please provide a breakdown of incidents by the following:
- The number of incidents attended each month, split by calendar year (e.g. Jan - Dec 2023, Jan - Dec 2024 and Jan - Dec 2025)
- The reason for attendance (e.g. ignoring smoking/vaping rules, assault, criminal damage, pitch invasion, etc)
If your records distinguish between smoking-related and vaping-related offences, please provide this breakdown separately, where possible.

West Mercia Police hold some of the information you have requested.
Please note: West Mercia Police have a presence at every match at home so may often deal with incidents through presence alone which have not generated a log or a record of attendance.
Dealing with vape related incidents would not fall within the police remit and likely be left to the event organiser unless Police were required to intervene.
The data provided is calls to the footprint so may not all be connected to a football match.
