I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 17th July 2026. Please find below the response to your request:
- Between the dates 1.4.25 and 31.3.26 how many reported sexual assaults and rapes REPORTED of:
- a) children above the age of 12 months old and under the age of 16 years old
- b) adults above the age of 16 years old
- For the above data, please can you tell me the outcomes of those reports for both groups using the attached blank policing outcome table in the above date range

West Mercia Police have conducted searches and hold the following information in relation to your request:
Caveat: There are occasions where there is more than 1 victim linked to an investigation where the victims may have different ages. Each investigation has been counted once in each data set, however where there is and an adult and a child linked as victim to the same investigation the investigation has been included in both tables.
