I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 20th July 2026. Please find below the response to your request:
I would like to request the total cost of policing the Raise the Flags Shrewsbury Plus events held in Shrewsbury on 30th May and 4th July, with the cost for each event provided separately.
If available, I would also be grateful for a breakdown of the costs for each event.

30.05.26 - £3,791.98 in officer overtime has been claimed so far for the event. These are the only costs.
04.07.26 – No specific information held. These costs will not be available until the July payroll has been provided.
Please note that officers have 3 months to claim overtime and that as the same op has been used to claim the costs, it may not be possible to provide a breakdown by date.
