West Mercia Police holds the below information
Between the 1st June 2025 – 31st May 2026 we have had:
Basic Fitness Test level is 5.4.
Pass with the support is 3.7.
Fail is anything lower then 3.7.
When an individual fails or gets awarded a “pass with support”, the Officer Safety Team puts a development plan together for them to complete over 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks, they are expected to attempt the fitness test again.
In regard to the details of why individuals fail, this is personal information. We do not log this information. This may be discussed on a one to one between the trainer and the individual, but it will be a confidential discussion.
