How many serving police officers were members of the 1987 Police Pension Scheme as of May 21st 2026?
Reply
There are no serving police officers that are part of the 1987 scheme as they have all transitioned across to the 2015 scheme between 2015 – 2022. However, there are 572 serving police officers that have a preserved benefit under the 1987 scheme.
