Allegation 1
Between 9th May 2023 and 9th July 2023 while suspended as part of an unrelated investigation the former officer undertook paid employment for Downstream Energy Ltd as a Heavy Goods Vehicle driver when he knew or ought to have known that such employment was not authorised by the Chief Constable and was contrary to West Mercia Police policy on business interests which require approval.
Allegation 2
Between 8th January 2024 and his resignation in March 2024 while suspended as part of an unrelated investigation he undertook paid employment as a manager with Morrisons supermarket when he knew or ought to have known that such employment was not authorised by the Chief Constable and was contrary to West Mercia Police policy on business interests which require approval.

Decision
The Chair decided that Former Officer Nick Peacock would have been dismissed without notice if he had not already ceased to be a member of the West Mercia Police force.
The former officer will be included on the Barred list held by College of Policing.
