Summary

  • On Wednesday 17th April 2024 he drove a Police Vehicle at an excess speed on the motorway to Oxford without a valid exemption.
  • On Wednesday 17th April 2024 he drove a Police Vehicle and used the vehicle with Blue Lights activated & using driving exemptions to drive in Oxford without a policing purpose. 

Decision

The Chair decided that Former Officer Simon Hallam would have been dismissed without notice if he hadn't ceased to be a member of West Mercia Police.

The former officer will be included on the Barred list held by College of Policing.

 

Please note this hearing does not relate to Sergeant Simon Hallam of South Worcestershire Problem Solving Hub, who remains in role as the local Problem Solving Sergeant.
