On 25th September 2023 at Folkestone Magistrates Court former PC Slade was convicted after pleading guilty to 5 offences of sexual assault by touching females over the age of 16.

The Chair decided that Former Officer Mark Slade would have been dismissed if he had not ceased to be a member of West Mercia Police force.

As a consequence of this outcome Mark Slade will be placed on the College of Policing Barred List.
