Misconduct Hearing Outcome
Officer concerned: PC 21733 Simon Hallam
Date of hearing: 29/1/2025 - 31/1/2025
Summary
It was alleged that the officer:
1. On or around 26th March 2023 and on or around 2nd May 2023 the officer has caused damage to police vehicles whilst on duty in a marked police vehicle. At this time he was acting as a Temporary Sergeant.
Decision
The Panel were satisfied that the breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in relation to Duties and Responsibilities and Discreditable Conduct were engaged and breached and that this amounted to Misconduct.
As a result of this Misconduct Hearing the panel concluded that a Final Written Warning for 3 years was an appropriate and proportionate outcome.
