Decision
The Panel concluded that a Written Warning would not be an appropriate sanction bearing in mind the purpose of misconduct proceedings and the assessment of seriousness in this case. In particular, it would not be sufficient to maintain public confidence in the police service and therefore a Final Written Warning for 2 years (FWW) was the appropriate and proportionate outcome.
