RURAL CRIME WEEK | Tackling crime in our rural areas is an important focus of West Mercia Police’s ‘We Don’t Buy Crime’ campaign with operations and investigations carried out all-year round. Superintendent Edward Hancox, Head of Prevention at West Mercia Police’s Lead, said: “We recognise that there are large rural areas across the counties we cover, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire and the impact that rural crime can have on local communities.
