Pedestrian injured in collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Shrewsbury.
The collision happened on the B4386 in Worthen, near to Worthen Post Office, around 10.30am yesterday (Monday 3 February). A pedestrian, an 82 year old woman, was hit by a car.
She was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses.
