Appeal for information after fatal collision near Leominster

Officers are appealing for information after a collision in Aymestrey where a man sadly died.

Around 9.30am today (Wednesday 17 November) officers received a report of a collision between a blue Honda Civic and a yellow Audi on the A4110.

Officers, West Midlands Ambulance and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue services attended.

Sadly, one of the drivers, a 79-year-old man from Aymestrey died.

The other driver and a passenger were taken to Hereford County Hospital with serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The road remains closed and enquiries are ongoing.

Officers would like anyone who saw the cars being driven or captured them on dash cam to please get in touch.
