Man pleads guilty following string of driving offences

Blake Wilding, 23, of Sion Avenue, Kidderminster, appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 2 August where he pleaded guilty to a string of driving offences and a public order offence.

His driving offences posed a threat to public safety and included driving off road, driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance or MOT. He also verbally abused and threatened members of the public who challenged his behaviour.

Mr Wilding has been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds in compensation and fines, and has been disqualified from driving for six months, with six points added to his licence.

Police Constable Jamie Guest of Kidderminster North and East Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We are pleased that the court has taken action on Wilding’s offences – his behaviour must not be tolerated. It causes great upset in the community and we aim to protect the public from this type of aggressive and dangerous behaviour.”
