Inquest into the deaths of David and Harrison Louden

Earlier today the inquest into the deaths of David Louden and his son Harrison Louden took place at Stourport Coroners Court.

Detective Chief Superintendent Damian Barratt said: “This was a dreadfully sad case and our thoughts and deepest condolences are with David and Harrison’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

“As an organisation we have taken time to reflect on whether there is more we could have done to prevent this from happening.

"This matter was referred to the local Safeguarding Children Partnership who have independently confirmed that there was nothing identified that could have led us to raise concerns or believe David and Harrison’s lives would end in such tragic circumstances.”
