Police in north Worcestershire have issued some advice for motorists after a high spate of thefts of keyless vehicles in the past couple of weeks.
The advice is particularly aimed at owners of Fords after thefts from both retail car parks and residential properties in the area.
Detective Constable Jodi Lothian urged motorists to be extra vigilant and ensure they secured their vehicles.
“Offenders are managing to get into the vehicles so we would ask car owners to consider the use of steering locks, drop down security posts on driveways and immobilisers to prevent the cars being driven off,” said DC Lothian.
