Appeal for witnesses following attempted burglary in Malvern

Officers are appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary at a property in Somers Park Avenue.

It happened around 3.10pm on Friday 17 November when two people attempted to break into a property wearing balaclavas. They were disturbed and made off from the scene empty handed before being caught and arrested on the M5.

A teenage boy, 16, and a man, 21, were arrested on suspicion of attempted residential burglary of a dwelling. They have since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Anyone who may have seen two people acting suspiciously or captured them on dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage around Somers Park Avenue is asked to contact Detective Constable Callum Godwin by emailing [email protected] quoting incident number 00251_I_17112023
