We can confirm that a body found in the River Severn has been formally identified as 84-year-old Francis “Cliff” Sloane.
Francis, known as Cliff, has been missing from Worcester since 4 October.
His body was recovered at Wainlode in Gloucestershire on 15 October.
Thank you to Gloucestershire Police and everyone who shared our appeal.
Our thoughts are with Cliff’s family at this time.
