Four warrants linked to county lines drug dealing were executed in Kidderminster and Bromsgrove this morning (Wednesday 7 August) in ongoing efforts tackle the supply of illegal drugs in Worcestershire.

This was a collaborative effort by our Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team (NCFT), Proactive CID, Economic Crime Unit and Local Policing teams in response to community concerns around suspected drug dealing.

One man, aged 26, and one woman, aged 21, were arrested at an address in Rock Hill, Bromsgrove. Another man, aged 26, was also arrested at an address in Hawfinch Rise, Kidderminster. They have all been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and money laundering offences.

Warrant-Latest.jpgDuring the search of their homes a large quantity of class A and class B drugs were found along with approximately £20,000 in cash.

All three suspects will be held in custody while further enquiries are carried out.

Detective Sergeant David Garner of Kidderminster CID, said: “This morning we executed four warrants in Kidderminster and Bromsgrove suspected to be linked to the supply of Class A drugs into our communities.

“Drug dealers prey on some of the most vulnerable people in society and their presence in turn causes more crime such as shoplifting, burglary and anti-social behaviour.

“We are determined to make Kidderminster and Bromsgrove safer places and prevent the harm these drug dealers cause to our local communities, and these warrants show we are listening to our communities and continue to act upon the information provided to us.”

The local community can help us by continuing to report any signs of criminal activity – the easiest way to do this is on our website. Any bit of information, no matter how small it may seem, could help make a big difference. You can do so here.

If you have information about drugs or drugs supply and don’t want to speak to police, you can report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

This investigation forms part of Operation Target – West Mercia Police’s work to tackle serious and organised crime.
