Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died and another was injured in a collision on the A44, Bromyard Road in Cotheridge last night. (Thursday 7 August)
At around 6.45pm, a collision occurred involving two motorbikes and a car. A man in his fifties who was riding one of the motorbikes died at the scene. A second motorcyclist, a man in his thirties, was taken to hospital with injuries to his leg.
Both motorbikes, a Honda and a Suzuki, were travelling towards Cotheridge, away from Worcester. The car, a blue Renault Captur, was travelling in the opposite direction towards Worcester.
PC Ashley Durkin said “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died, and the man who was injured.
“We are keen to establish how the collision has occurred and would urge anyone who may have witnesses the collision, may have seen the motorbikes or the car prior to the collision or who may have dashcam footage to please get in touch.
“Please contact PC Richard Allen on 01905 694867 or via email [email protected]"
