We’re appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Fernhill Heath yesterday (Sunday 30 November).
The collision happened at around 5.55pm on Droitwich Road, close to The Bull Inn, and involved a pedestrian and a Mercedes A Class.
The pedestrian, a 78-year-old woman, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 33-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dashcam footage which shows it.
