Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A449 last night (26 June).
The collision occurred at around 9.30pm close to Chances Pitch and Colwall on the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border, involving three vehicles.
A woman, in her 50s, who was riding a black Kawasaki motorbike sadly died at the scene.
She was travelling in towards Ledbury at the time of collision.
The two other vehicles involved were a Silver VW Golf and a black Skoda which were both travelling in the direction of Malvern. The drivers of the cars were not injured.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He is currently in custody while enquires are ongoing.
DC Maule said : “Our thoughts are with the family at this extremely difficult time and we ask that their privacy is respected.
“We are carrying out an investigation to establish how the collision has occurred and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has seen any of the vehicles prior to it. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage.

Road closures were in place until the earlier hours of this morning but the road is now re-opened.
