Appeal following fatal collision between car and pedestrian in Telford

We are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and pedestrian in Telford in which a man sadly lost his life.

Yesterday afternoon (Thursday 27 November) around 3pm a black Audi A1 collided with a pedestrian in the Farmfoods car park on Holyhead Road in Telford.

The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man was declared deceased a short time later.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who has dashcam footage from around the time it happened.
