Appeal following fatal collision in Herefordshire

We are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Herefordshire yesterday evening (Saturday 8 November).

The collision happened around 5:30pm on the C1125, between Hereford and Sutton St Nicholas when a grey VW Polo, black BMW 1 series and grey Mazda 6 collided.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a man in his 80s who was driving the VW Polo, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.

We would like to hear from anyone who saw, or who has dashcam footage, of the collision itself or the vehicles in the minutes before.

In particular, we would like to hear from the driver of a Tesla who we believe could be a key witness of the grey VW Polo minutes before the collision.
