Shropshire woman charged with supporting a banned terrorist organisation

Detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands CTU have charged a Shropshire woman with supporting a banned terrorist organisation namely Hamas.
Sarah Wilkinson, aged 62 from Bishops Castle, was charged with five offences yesterday (Sunday):
- One charge of encouragement - Sec1(1) Terrorism Act 2000
- One charge of dissemination - Sec 2(1) Terrorism Act 2000
- Two charges of supporting - Sec 12(1A) Terrorism Act 2006
- One charge of failing to comply with a Section 49 RIPA notice
She is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on 20 October.
Wilkinson was arrested in August last year and bailed while the investigation continued.
