David Jones, 34, of no fixed abode in Worcester city centre, has been charged with arson being reckless as to whether life endangered, assault with intent to rob and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
The charges relate to incidents at Unity Community Hub on Hill Street in Worcester and on Spring Lane in Worcester, both on Thursday 26 February 2026.
Jones has been remanded in custody to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2 March.
A 34-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a garage on Surman Street, Worcester on 26 February 2026 has been released under investigation.
The murder investigation is ongoing.
