Last week, West Mercia Police carried out a dedicated operation to target dangerous drivers linked to car meets in Telford.
Operation chicane was carried out on Sunday 14 June and supported by the National Police Air Service.
PC Mark Smith from the roads policing team said: “We know there was disruption to members of the public on Sunday evening and would like to reassure the local community of the action we have taken.
“As part of operation chicane a large amount of evidence was gathered and as a result 20 people will now receive a notice of intended prosecution.
“We will not tolerate antisocial or dangerous driving on our roads and will go to great lengths to prosecute those responsible – anyone tempted to engage in this behaviour will be dealt to the full extent of the law.”
