UPDATED: Age of 2nd man arrested has been amended at 16:55 on 6/3/26
A second man has been arrested in connection with a murder investigation launched last Thursday (26 February).
Emergency services attended an address on Surman Street around 6am following the report of a garage on fire and the body of a man was found inside.
A 34-year-old man was arrested that day on suspicion of murder, and he has since been released under investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher said: “Our investigation into the death of a man in Worcester continues and as part of our extensive enquiries we yesterday (Wednesday 4 March) arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of murder and GBH and he remains in custody.”
