Three people arrested for drug supply in Evesham

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing following warrants executed in Evesham yesterday (Wednesday 18 March).

Following intelligence around suspected drug supply into the town, officers targeted properties including a shop on Waterside, and a house in Oak Tree Close.

Officers discovered suspected class A drugs, cash, mobile phones and other drug paraphernalia.

The two men, aged 29 and 22, and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and taken into custody. They have since been released on bail.

Inspector Dave Wise, from Evesham’s Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “The arrests and multiple warrants carried out near our town centre are a result of community intelligence and listening to the priorities set for us by the people of Evesham.

“Drug dealing is not welcome in our town, and we will continue to take robust action against those who seek to profit from it.

“The impact of drugs goes far beyond those directly involved. It brings harm to vulnerable people, fuels wider criminality, and undermines the safety and wellbeing of our community. We remain committed to working tirelessly to protect residents and ensuring Evesham continues to be a safe place to live.”
