Two men have been arrested following a spate of trailer thefts across Worcestershire and Herefordshire in recent weeks.
Officers are investigating a series of seven thefts since the middle of February.
Two men were arrested this month (March) on suspicion of theft and have since been bailed pending further enquiries. Some trailers have also been recovered as part of the investigation.
Our Rural and Business Crime team are advising trailer owners and keepers to double check their security measures in case of any further theft attempts. Prevention ideas include: -
PC Mike Roberts from the Rural Crime Team said: “We have suffered several trailer thefts recently where we believe organised crime groups are targeting trailers for onward sale.
“Two men have been arrested so far, and an investigation has been launched but this is a timely reminder to please ensure you utilise any possible security measures to protect your property.”
