Officers are issuing an appeal to help locate Kieron Rees who is wanted in connection with several offences.
The 35-year-old, who has links to Bromsgrove and Birmingham, is wanted by police in relation to an attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon offence.
It is thought those involved are known to each other.
