We are appealing for information following a burglary at the Tesco petrol station on Mill Wood Drive in Worcester.
At around 2.10am yesterday morning (Monday 19 October), three suspects wearing dark clothing forced entry into the petrol station. It is believed one of the suspects used an angle grinder to cut through a metal security shutter protecting the front entrance, while another used a fire extinguisher to smash a lower panel of the door.
The three suspects then entered the store and used an angle grinder to cut open cash boxes before leaving the store with them.
They were seen leaving the area on foot towards Vetch Field Avenue before riding away on electric bikes along Mill Wood Drive.
We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the suspects, the electric bikes, or any suspicious activity before or after the incident.
Anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV, doorbell or other security camera footage from the Mill Wood Drive and Vetch Field Avenue areas is asked to check their recordings for any footage of the suspects or their movements around the time of the incident.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Andrew Todd by emailing [email protected]
