The West Mercia Police apprentice scheme offers people the opportunity to gain experience in policing while studying for a professional qualification.
West Mercia Police offers people from all ages and backgrounds opportunities to work as an Apprentice within the service, gaining valuable work experience in a full or part-time role, but also undertake online learning and practical, on the job training to achieve professional qualifications.
As an Apprentice, you will:
- work alongside experienced staff
- gain job-specific skills and professional qualifications without the debt of University fees and loans
- earn a good salary
- gain the same benefits as all other staff, including 25 or more days annual leave
- get time for study related to your role (usually one day a week)
- Full time, fixed-term contract leading to a professional qualification (Earn While You Learn).
- Fully funded Level 3 Apprenticeship in Digital Services support
