A dispensation is a permission for an abnormal load to travel without having to notify us each time.
You can apply for an annual dispensation which will be valid from January to December.
If you apply in the middle of the year a dispensation will be valid until the end of the current year.
Please use our dispensation enquiry form to ask about dispensations.
Please include your business name, point of contact, address and phone number.
If you need a police escort you must give us 10 weeks' notice.
If you need to move an abnormal load in an emergency, contact us as soon as you can and make it clear on your notification that it is for an emergency movement.
