    Anti-Social Behaviour within the community, this encompasses a multitude of issues such as illegal use of electric bikes, drug use and youth related crime.

    We will: Engage with the community to highlight the problem areas and issues within. Carryout high visibility patrols of highlighted areas of concern. Take positive action against people involved in committing Anti-Social Behaviour.

    We did July 2026 -
    Officers continue to carry out a combination of plain-clothes and high-visibility patrols on Rubery High Street in response to reports of anti-social behaviour and community concerns. These patrols enabled officers to gather intelligence, identify individuals involved in ASB, provide reassurance to businesses and residents, and take appropriate action where offences or breaches were identified.
    Officers will continue to attended a number of community events, engagement opportunities, and local policing surgeries throughout the priority area. These events provided an opportunity for residents to raise concerns directly with their neighbourhood team, share information regarding local issues, and discuss the action being taken to address anti-social behaviour within their communities. High-visibility patrols were maintained across identified hotspot locations to provide reassurance to residents and visitors.

    Plain clothes patrols and high Visibility patrols targeting ASB on the Rubery high street Highstreet
    Plain clothes and overt patrols in Clent to tackle the ASB issues at Walton Pool car Park and Nimmings Wood.
    Evidence led patrols of Rubery/Lickey Hills, Hagley, Cofton Hacket
    A number community events/ surgeries carried out
    ASB warning letters to a number of persons involved in ASB

    Shoplifting and other business related criminality has been highlighted through community engagement and revision of the available crime data for the community.

    We Will: Engage with the local community including shop owners and staff to identify patterns of offending and suspects. To deal robustly with identified culprits using all the tool that are available to us. Provide re-assurance patrols to the highlighted areas in order to prevent further criminality.

    We did July 2026 -
    Officers and PCSOs conducted regular high-visibility patrols within retail premises and surrounding shopping areas to provide reassurance to businesses, staff, and members of the public. These patrols were aimed at deterring shop theft, anti-social behaviour, and associated criminality, whilst increasing police presence in locations identified as being most at risk.
    Officers have focused enforcement activity on known and repeat offenders responsible for committing retail crime across the area. Intelligence has been reviewed and shared with relevant teams to identify offending patterns, monitor suspect activity, and support the robust investigation and prosecution of offenders where evidence exists.

    We Will:
    Engage with local communities to identify the issues and areas of concern. patrol the road network where issues have been highlighted. Use all available tools to educate and where appropriate take positive action against road users falling short of the required standard on our roads.

    We did July 2026 -
    PCSOs have conducted speed surveys and enforcement activity at numerous locations across the area following concerns raised by residents regarding excessive speed and road safety. The results have been used to identify speeding hotspots, inform future enforcement activity, and provide evidence for ongoing problem-solving initiatives.
    Targeted patrols continue to be carried out in Clent in response to ongoing concerns regarding anti-social behaviour, nuisance vehicles, and illegal street racing. Officers worked closely with local residents, parish councils, landowners, and partner agencies to identify those responsible, gather intelligence, and develop long-term solutions aimed at preventing further incidents and improving community confidence.

    PCSO’s have done the speed surveys and speed enforcement in numerous sites across the area
    Hopwood pre-planned op targeting illegal activities
    Hi viz patrols on the trunk roads and high harm routes
    ANPR utilisation – leading to vehicle stops and seizure
    Clent patrols and community/partnership engagement to eradicate the asb and racing issues in the area.
