Park Close, St Georges has experienced ongoing anti-social behaviour (ASB) and criminality over the past six months. Reported issues include suspected drug use, criminal damage, anti-social behaviour, and assaults. These incidents have had a significant impact on the local community, resulting in multiple residents raising concerns with West Mercia Police, the Parish Council, and Telford & Wrekin Council's ASB Team.
Issued 01 October 2026
In response to community concerns, West Mercia Police have worked closely with partner agencies to address the issues affecting Park Close. Engagement activity has included attendance at public meetings, liaison with the Parish Council and Telford & Wrekin Council (TWC), and community letter drops encouraging residents to provide information and intelligence to police.
Telford & Wrekin Council installed CCTV within the area to provide reassurance to residents and assist in gathering evidence. The local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) developed a Problem Management Plan (PMP), conducted high-visibility patrols, and submitted intelligence relating to individuals and vehicles associated with the address. Enforcement activity has included the execution of warrants, arrests for a variety of offences, and the gathering of evidence to support further action.
As a result of the partnership response and ongoing enforcement activity, a Closure Order was successfully obtained and is currently in effect. The SNT continues to patrol and monitor the location, working with partner agencies to address any breaches of the order and respond to further reports of criminality or anti-social behaviour. These measures aim to reduce crime and disorder, improve community confidence, and safeguard local residents from ongoing nuisance and harm.

Teece Drive, Priorslee are experiencing issues relating to anti-social behaviour (ASB) centred around the skate park located between Teece Drive, Herbert Owen Drive and Cadman Drive.
Multiple concerns have been raised by local residents regarding groups of individuals attending the location on e-scooters. Reports indicate that riders frequently congregate within the skate park area and are often seen travelling to and from the location wearing hoods and face coverings, making identification difficult.
Residents have reported that e-scooters and bicycles are being ridden in a manner that causes alarm, harassment and distress to members of the public, particularly those using the adjoining public footpaths and recreational areas. The behaviour has created community concerns regarding public safety and has negatively impacted the enjoyment of the park and surrounding open spaces by local residents and visitors.
Issued 01 September 2026
Following partnership discussions, a CCTV camera was installed at the location to provide reassurance to local residents and assist in identifying those involved in anti-social behaviour. The local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has also increased patrols within the area, particularly during the evenings when reports of disorder are most prevalent.
The SNT has engaged with local councillors and schools to raise awareness of the concerns and encourage positive behaviour amongst young people using the facility. In addition, social media messaging has been utilised to educate the public on the legalities and risks associated with the use of e-scooters in public places.
The SNT will continue conducting regular patrols at the location, seeking to identify individuals involved in anti-social behaviour and the unlawful use of e-scooters. Where appropriate, officers will take positive action, including engaging with riders, issuing advice and warnings, seizing vehicles where legislation permits, and considering further enforcement action to deter offending and reduce the impact on the local community.
