WE DID :
Action taken:
•Officers have conducted high-visibility patrols throughout Madeley, with particular attention given to identified hotspot locations around the town centre.
•We have been addressing concerns relating to a rough sleeper in Madeley and are working alongside Tesco and the local Anti-Social Behaviour Team to explore appropriate civil interventions, including a Community Protection Notice Warning (CPNW).
•We continue to work with partner agencies to identify early intervention opportunities and provide support and diversionary activities where appropriate.
•Regular community engagement surgeries have been held, giving residents the opportunity to raise concerns directly with local officers and discuss ongoing issues affecting the area.

Priority 3: Nuisance Motorbikes

- Conduct targeted patrols in key areas identified through intelligence and community reports
- Use powers to seize vehicles being used illegally under Section 59 and related legislation
- Work with partner agencies and landowners to identify access points and reduce opportunities for illegal riding
- Gather intelligence and identify repeat offenders
- Engage with the community to encourage reporting of incidents and sharing of information
WE DID:
Action taken:
•Targeted patrols have been carried out in key locations, including Rough Park and Woodside, where reports of nuisance motorbike activity have been received.
•CCTV opportunities have been explored, and images of suspected riders have been obtained to assist with identification and enforcement activity.
•Local officers are working in support of Operation Spree, a dedicated initiative aimed at tackling the illegal use of off-road bikes and nuisance vehicles within the area.
•Further enforcement and intelligence-led activity is being planned to identify offenders and reduce the impact of nuisance riding on local communities.
