Misconduct Hearing outcome

Summary
It was alleged that the officer:
1. Made unwanted and excessive calls and texts to the complainant.
2. Abused his position as a police officer using police systems to monitor the whereabout of the complainant at work.
3. Used a police vehicle showing blue lights to stop the complainant in their private vehicle without a lawful policing purpose.
Decision
The allegations at 1 and 2 were withdrawn mid-hearing by Counsel on behalf of West Mercia Police Appropriate Authority. Allegation 3 was considered by the panel under a Goodyear indication and found there to be no misconduct but directed the allegation to be referred to RPRP.
